Brutal competition in stem cell research: Harvard fears

At 13th, October, a daylong event, the Stem Cell Leadership Summit Friday was organized by AAAS in Cambridge, US. Some quotes worth mentioning:

The controversial Lawrence H. Summers, former Harvard president: “we are not alone in seeing the enormous impact biomedical research in general, and stem cell science in particular, will have on the region and the nation. And the stakes here are very high. So make no mistake, there will be brutal competition.
